Cabinet

The Cabinet is the main decision-making body of the North East Combined Authority. It is made up of the Mayor and one councillor from each of the seven constituent authorities. There are also two non-voting members representing the business and, community and voluntary sectors.

Cabinet meetings

Dates for 2024/25 North East CA Cabinet meetings are:

  • 7 May 2024 at Durham County Council (County Hall)
  • 11 June 2024 at Gateshead Council (Civic Centre)
  • 30 July 2024 at Newcastle City Council (Civic Centre)
  • 17 September 2024 at North Tyneside Council (Quadrant, Cobalt Business Park)
  • 26 November 2024 at Northumberland County Council (County Hall)
  • 28 January 2025 at South Tyneside Council (Town Hall)
  • 11 March 2025 at Sunderland City Council (City Hall)

All Cabinet meetings commence at 2pm.
